1962 18' Correct-Craft Tournament Skier

Everyone is familiar with the Correct Craft Ski Nautique line of ski boats. They were once made out of wood. Yes, they go back that far. We've done a few of the smaller Atom Skiers, but his is the first of the larger Tournament Skiers we've seen. It's a much larger boat.

This boat was in very sad shape, and needed most everything except a new bottom. She belongs to a very nice young couple who boats on a lake only an hour or so from the shop. It's been in her family for a long time, and been sitting in a garage since Abe Lincoln was President. Well, almost that long.

She's a plywood boat, and much of her decks and transom have delaminated. So, we're to replace the decks, add some stylish ceiling boards, a new swim platform, flooring, interior, and take care of about a zillion mechanical issues.

The red indoor/outdoor carpeting was a very nice touch. Now, if we can just find an avocado colored range or refrigerator...
Now she looks better!
